This year’s festival is taking place on Saturday, September 13th. Gates open at 11:00 am. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, and kids 12 and under are free. There will be food vendors, shaved ice, craft vendors with a variety of goods for sale, as well as beer, wine, and refreshments available. There will be raffle prizes, as well as an auction for a 2-day hog hunt with accommodations in beautiful San Miguel, California, donated by Sky Rose Ranch. We will also have a guided fishing trip on Crowley Lake available for auction, donated by local guide and former lifelong member of the White Mountain Fire Department, Loran Kitts. For the kids, a fantastic playground is available for their enjoyment. Bring your chairs or blankets and stake your spot!
This year, our headline musician will be Carson Chandler from Gardnerville, Nevada. As a 23-year-old up-and-coming country artist, Carson Chandler is carving out his path in the music industry with one goal: bringing American western country music back to mainstream radio. His inspiration for music came from artists such as Alan Jackson, George Strait, and Waylon Jennings, to newer country music artists like Cody Johnson, Randall King, and Josh Turner. Carson has built a strong genre of music that is sure to get you two-stepping holes in the soles of your boots! Carson recently made his second appearance at the renowned Night in the Country Music Festival in Yerington, Nevada, earlier this month and has been featured in many of the resorts in Reno and Tahoe. He recently played at the Twin Lakes Resort Fish Fest in Bridgeport, California.
The exciting musical lineup continues with some of the most talented musicians in the Eastern Sierra. These include Bill Planchion, Pete Watercott (Fiddlin Pete), Giacomo Timberello, Norm Harris and Sandy and the High Country!
